An on-staff safety director

Our highly trained and experienced safety director helps ensure the safety of every job. Our director is responsible for designing, implementing and updating our safety programs, creating jobsite safety plans and overseeing jobsite safety inspections. In addition, our director has completed OSHA 10 and OSHA 30 certification and ensures that StructureWerks is always OSHA compliant.

A safety-first attitude

Every Structurewerks employee knows that “safety first” isn’t just a catch phrase—it’s how we do business. They’ve seen us shut down a site to address a problem and know they can come to us with any safety concern. We work hard to impress upon our employees that none of us are safe unless all of us are safe.

Jobsite safety plans

This critical first step lets us address any safety issues before the job starts and helps your project move forward both safely and efficiently.

Extensive, ongoing training

Safety training starts on Day 1 and never ends.

Every crewmember has completed:

• OSHA 10 training
• Equipment instruction—includes intensive training every time we add a new piece of equipment plus periodic updates
• PPE (personal protection equipment) training
• MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheet) training

Twice-daily site safety checks

Our work day begins and ends with site safety checks by the job foreman. Having an experienced and highly trained expert reviewing our sites each day ensures that we address any safety issues quickly and completely. If there’s ever a safety issue during the day, our crew knows to address it immediately.

Nightly site clean up

Every day wraps with a complete site clean up. This allows us to do our daily equipment check (see below) and means that everything will be clean, dry and ready for the next day’s work.

Daily equipment checks and ongoing maintenance

Our daily check-ups ensure that every piece of equipment is in safe working order. When our crew checks equipment out, they have full confidence that it’s been thoroughly inspected and is ready to work with. All equipment is regularly maintained to manufacturer’s standards.
